Ganley silent on return to politics

Declan Ganley has refused to confirm or deny growing speculation that he is positioning himself for a shock comeback ahead of the Lisbon II referendum.

The appearance of a mysterious “Bring Ganley back” website has led to speculation that, with 11 weeks remaining before Lisbon II, the ex-Libertas leader is “poised” for a return to national politics.

The site, which also slams “biased” RTE and Prime Time coverage of Mr Ganley, says that the EU election defeat which was the catalyst for Ganley’s departure from public life was “not a sufficient forum to assess his mandate”. Read full article…
