He is already the world’s highest-paid public speaker.

Now Tony Blair has found another way to make money without even opening his mouth.

The former prime minister is charging £180 for the privilege of having a photo taken with him.

Tickets have already sold out for a lecture in Canada next month in which admirers paid £180 for a ‘photo opportunity’ with the former party leader.

The 100 premium tickets for the Surrey Regional Economic Summit in British Columbia on October 6 cost around £420 each.

This buys a ‘photo opportunity with Tony Blair’ for as many as 100 people who will be whisked through in a one-hour session to briefly meet Blair while the cameras flash.

For £180 less, there are 500 tickets with the ‘photo opportunity not included’, according to the promotional material.

Blair is attending the event for about two hours and will speak for 30 minutes.

His fee has not been disclosed, but is likely to be more than £100,000.

In previous appearances on the international lecture circuit, he has commanded up to £6,000 a minute making him the best-paid speaker in the world.

Details of the picture fee were revealed as it emerged that the Blairs are embroiled in a fresh row at Buckinghamshire home over plans for a guest house.

They want to convert a dilapidated brick shack at the bottom of the garden of their £5.75 million country mansion into a two-bedroom, two bathroom guest house.

They already have seven bedrooms, but perhaps Mr and Mrs Blair don’t like having guests just down the corridor, as they have applied for planning permission to convert a ‘gardener’s cottage’ in the grounds.

But their grand designs have angered neighbours who have accused the Blairs of trying to ‘overdevelop’ their Grade I listed estate, South Pavilion in the picturesque village of Wotton Underwood, Buckinghamshire.
