Irish scientists may have found a new wonder-drug in the battle against leukaemia.

P-box-15 has been shown to kill leukaemia cells even in patients who have shown resistance to current therapies.

The drug is still being trialled. Professor Mark Lawler from the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin says it is a significant development in cancer research.
