United States airports reject controversial Russia Today ads that are turning heads across the UK
January 4, 2010 by Infowars Ireland
Major US airports refused to display this and other images (below) intended for use in the RT´s December´09 US advertising campaign.
An alternative version was accepted though, and can be seen on display in airports of New York NY, Washington DC, Baltimore MD and Newark NJ.
RT advertisements juxtapose provocative images which show different sides of a story. We ask questions and encourage viewers to question more, since you can only reach a balanced judgment by being better informed. By challenging the accepted view, we reveal a side of the news that you wouldn´t normally see. After all, the more you question, the more you know.
Whatever your personal point of view is on any of these stories, we at RT believe it is valid to pose the questions.

I see no reason for banning these ads, they’re just asking a question, not stating anything. Plus sometimes you need things to think about on those long flights.
I find these poster ads very creative and provocative without being offensive. Also, a picture is worth 10,000 words. The ancient Egyptians conveyed entire concepts with just a picture.
